MISSED BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN

To those we've loved

Ben was a wonderful member of our family for nearly 9 years. We will miss Ben more than words could ever express but we are so thankful for the memories that we will always cherish. May God bless our Ben in Heaven. - Craig & Angie Koss

Yoshi Bear Clark 9/14/02-7/23/11According to Greek mythology, The Big Dipper was originally known as "Ursa Major", which means "The Great White Bear-your protector in the night sky". Legend has it that a debate ensued as a few philosophers said that since bears do not have tails, "Ursa Major" could not possibly be their protector in the night sky. It is told that those naysayers disappeared; never to be heard from again...Everyone was now a believer! Numerous people who knew Yosh well have recalled this ancient tale. Each has said, "Little did they know back then that they were simply ahead of their time...for they had not yet met our Yoshi; our polar bear with a tail-our protector in the night sky! So now, each time you look up and see the Big Dipper...know that Yoshi is in that night sky — our protector. Thank you, each of you for your love, kindness, support and thoughtfulness that you have shown. It is truly appreciated! Thank you for showing Yoshi such love these last several years; making the second half of his life such a positive one. Without a doubt, Yosh loved providing therapy at TLRC and also to the community at large. He certainly had a highly unusual intuitive nature and was one magnificent dog indeed! Yosh may have left my arms, but he will never leave my heart.

In and Out
The dog searches until he finds me
Upstairs, lies down with a clatter
Of elbows, puts his head on my foot.

Sometimes the sound of his breathing
Saves my life---in and out, in
And out: a pause, a long sigh…
